Con questa serie di immagini ho cercato di indagare il rapporto sempre presente in fotografia tra realtà e trasfigurazione della stessa da parte della macchina fotografica. Quando guardiamo una foto abbiamo sempre presente il rapporto di impronta che la lega all'oggetto fotografato, ma invariabilmente assistiamo anche a uno slittamento di significato, la cosa fotografata spesso rimanda a qualcos'altro.
With this image series I tried to investigate the ever lasting relationship between reality and its photographic transfiguration. When we look at a photo, we always keep in mind the relationship between the image and the object that has been photographed, but we are also witnesses to a sliding of meaning: the photographed object often refers to something else.
