La serie sulla Via Emilia prosegue il mio interesse per il paesaggio (urbano e non). E' un viaggio visivo da Piacenza a Rimini che racconta ciò che si incontra lungo la strada statale. Per maggiore coerenza ho deciso di non spostarmi mai dalla strada stessa, che diventa il filo rosso che lega anche visivamente le immagini. La ricerca tende a descrivere ciò che questo luogo è, tra un passato sempre presente con le sue tracce e un futuro indecifrabile e abbastanza inquietante.
The Via Emilia series reflect my continued interest in landscapes (urban or not). The visual ride from Piacenza to Rimini shows what you can find along the interstate. I have decided not to move away from the interstate itself, which has become the thread that visually binds my photos. The research tends to describe this place as tied between an "always present" past and an incomprehensible and quite disturbing future.
